Mach-Aire Isolators

Mach-Aire design, manufacture, install and validate a market leading range of isolators (generic name seperative enclosures) and ancillary equipment for pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.

They are designed to protect high value products during their manufacture, preparation or dispensing from process generated and external contamination, that would compromise their quality. At the same time they protect the workforce and surrounding environment from any hazardous micro-organisms, biological or chemically active materials that may be associated with the product during its manufacture, preparation or dispensing or in the event of any failure occurring.

A Mach-Aire isolator is an enclosed controlled environment of minimum volume that physically separates people from the process. It uses "barrier elements" of quantified performance such as impervious materials, high efficiency filtration, transfer devices, bagging systems, docking ports and either robotic or manual manipulation systems.

ICT Series

This negative pressure isolator is un-equaled in today's market for the safe aseptic reconstitution and preparation of either hazardous or non-hazardous sterile products.

The unique combination of acrylic working chamber and stainless steel base gives an 'open aspect' design offering clear uninterrupted views to the operator. Units can be supplied in either a 2 or 4 glove arrangement and all incorporate a safe change primary HEPA filter pressure decay test " pass/fail" facility.

Additional optional features can be provided to further enhance the capabilities of the unit:-

  • Adjustable working heights by touch button "Vari-lift" powered control for optimum comfort
  • Integral closed circuit television system for remote monitoring
  • Hands free intercom system
  • Ideal for Hospital Pharmacy Aseptic Services

IPP Series

Mach-Aire IPP Series of positive pressure isolators are built to ergonomic designs that are both user-friendly and efficiently functional, with similar design features as the ICT Series.

"Stand-alone" or integrated into the clean room walls this model range is offered with numerous accessories to meet today's demanding market requirements.

Ideal for Hospital Pharmacy Aseptic Services.

INP Series

Mach-Aire INP Series of High Integrity Containment Isolators are supplied where safety to the operator is paramount during the sterile manufacture of potent of toxic product.

The materials of construction, design features and final IQ/OQ certification relate the fact that this series of isolators can be used in the most demanding of containment applications. Each isolator is precision built using the most resilient materials, ie:

  • 316L polished stainless steel
  • 9mm thick toughened safety glass
  • PTFE (teflon) gaskets
  • PP, HDPE and phenolic resin glove ports and service ports
  • Safe change ULPA, HEPA and carbon filtration
  • Hypalon gloves and gauntlets

The electrical and mechanical services available as an integral part of the isolator are equally robust and safe, ie:

  • 316L stainless steel rapid transfer points (RTP)
  • Liquid waste ports complete with tri-clover, shut off valves, portable holding / dump tanks
  • Solid waste ports
  • High integrity electrical glands

IST Series

Mach-Aire produces a range of two-glove and four-glove Isolators specially for sterility testing.

The isolators are designed for the sterility testing of pharmaceutical products using the Millipore 'Integral' system.

Isolators are designed to incorporate automatic disinfection utilising hydrogen peroxide vapour.

The isolators can be single or double chambered, with interconnecting transfer hatch and 'in' / 'out' transfer hatches fitted as standard.

Fabricated from 316L stainless steel, with a smooth internal finish, integral control system and alarm system, internal lighting, timed release transfer hatch doors and filtration to Grade 'A'

IPC Series

Mach-Aire Ltd IPC Series are miniature portable seperative enclosures (isolators) which will facilitate the preparation of aseptic products outside of normal working hours. The unit can be positioned in a clinic, ward, operating theatre etc.

It operates as a "multi-mode" isolator allowing the pharmacist to operate the unit, at the touch of a button, as either a Type 1 (positive) isolator or Type 2 (negative) isolator and Class 3 (negative to BS EN ISO 12469:2000) biological cabinet (when maybe blood products have to be handled). In addition to the above three operating modes (all powered by the hospital standard 230V / 1 / 50Hz mains supply), the isolator can be "switched" to operate from its 24 Volt D.C. battery pack, thus allowing the unit to be wheeled / transferred through any department whilst still maintaining its airflows and pressure criteria for up to 2 hours duration.
