Bench Model Fume Cupboard
This pre-engineered, fully tested and certified unit allows quick and easy installation, requiring minimum personnel and handling equipment. The unit can be designed for both VAV (Varying Air Volume) and CAV (Constant Air Volume) applications with minimum modification.

Performance Standards
- All cabinets are tested to the GSK requirements at 0.4m/sec and 0.5m/sec face velocity with a working sash opening of 500mm.
- All tests are carried out in accordance with BS EN 14175.
- Minimum type test containment levels 0.005ppm (mean) and in-use performance of 0.010ppm (mean).
In addition to flexibility in the operational location of the unit, the FlexiLab Fume Cupboard can be designed to provide a variety of options giving the ultimate in flexibility of use, i.e.
External width dimensions of 1200, 1500 and 1800 mm
Access between adjacent Fume Cupboard working chambers can be via a sliding sash, glazed panel with service pass through ports, an open end or any combination of these.
Provision for up to twelve mechanical services with blanks to allow for possible future fitting.
Removable serrated nozzles to service outlets.
Hinged side airfoils to allow access to mechanical services for ease of maintenance or change of use.
Quick release connections on all mechanical, electrical and extract air connections.
Fully integrated ‘Firetrace’ fire suppression system.
Bench model units are fitted with a one-piece moulded cast epoxy work surface with internal liners made from acid resistant solid grade laminate. Internal scaffold bosses and baffle fixings are moulded polypropylene for durability and good chemical resistance.
