Classic Fume Cupboards

Tried and tested in leading laboratories and research centres the Classic Series represents Mach-Aire's standard range of fume cupboards.

Standard Model

A fully comprehensive range of bench mounted, step-in and walk-in units are offered in a wide range of standard sizes up to 3 metres wide with single sash and 4.2 metres wide with double sash.

They are of a twin skin construction with outer aerodynamically designed carcass of coated steel and inner liners selected from a wide range of resistant materials in a fire resistant shell which is available in a variety of colours.

Work surfaces also come in a range of resistant materials with a wide colour choice. Parts are removable for easy replacement, and accessories such as sinks, drip cups and troughs can be supplied & positioned as required.

Removable low level aerofoil, manufactured from 316 quality stainless steel
Toughened glass sash, counterbalanced with failsafe pulley and weight system
Mechanical service wheels and electrical sockets positioned on vertical or horizontal fascias
Hinged and removable upper access panel
Good maintenance access to service connections from removeable fascia plates and flush fitting internal access panels
Can be provided for contstant of varying air volume operation (CAV / VAV)

Narrow Style Model


	Narrow style

The narrow airfoil 'Classic' model is offered in the same external widths as the standard range but the slim side airfoil gables provide a greater internal working width; ideal where space is a premium.

The services and controls are located on the lower horizontal fascia of the support frame in the more tradtional manner.

All combinations of internal linings, work surfaces, services and other variations available for the standard Classic range are also offered for this model.

It should be noted that this type of cabinet can only be supplied in a bench mounted arragement.

Both the above ranges of fume cabinets have been tested to BS EN 14175 within a range of velocities from 0.2 to 0.5m/sec.
