Mach-Aire goes back to school

Darren Hughes, General Manager at Mach-Aire (Shanghai) Clean Air Technologies, has visited the Sino-British College, USST (a British university in Shanghai) as part of a programme organised by the Universities Careers Service and Development Programme.

Darren was able to discover how current engineering students learn from practical experience out in industry, in addition to their traditional academic studies throughout their degree course. Mach-Aire is keen to help a new generation of engineers and enable them to gain valuable experience in a genuine industry setting before they graduate and begin their career, and was impressed with the programme offered at the Sino-British College.

Darren is looking forward to being able to give current engineering students an insight into life as an engineer working in the rapidly changing Chinese market and help them to understand the expectations on newly qualified engineers looking to start their careers with a successful British engineering firm operating in China.
