Mach-Aire has the resources and skills to design and build Pharmacy Clean Room Facilities.
Projects range from small single rooms to large multi-roomed manufacturing suites. Our designers work with end users, architects, main contractors and facility managers to provide state of the art facilities. Mach-Aire has a full understanding of aseptic manufacture and dispensing. Usually the facilities are designed to include other products from the Mach-Aire range, such as Isolators, Laminar Flow Units or Safety Cabinets.
Pharmaceutical Clean Rooms
Specialised design, construction and validation of Clean Rooms for the United Kingdom National Health Service, Irish Health Board Hospital Pharmacies and the Pharmaceutical Industry.
Fully compliant with EU cGMP Rules, all installations are fully validated by our commissioning engineers.
Clean Rooms are provided with full air handling and air conditioning and many other additional features.
Facilities can include such extra equipment as intercom systems, closed circuit television systems, facility monitoring with particle measurement and recording is also offered, as required by the EU GMP Annex 1 Revision.
The Facility will be constructed as a pharmaceutical production clean room facility that will comply with the "Rules Governing Medicinal Products in the European Union, Pharmaceutical Legislation, Medicinal Products For Human And Veterinary Use, Good Manufacturing Practices, Volume 4" and "Rules and Guidance for Pharmaceutical Manufactures and Distributors 2007", published by the MHRA, in respect of the requirements detailed for premises. Our design takes account of these rules and other fixed criteria, such as heat gains to the environment of the facility, the number of people present in the rooms, the air change rates to achieve the required grades etc. and the discharge volumes from the negative pressure isolators.

Modular Clean Rooms
Mach-Aire designs, constructs and commissions modular transportable Clean Rooms. Ideally suited for applications where conventional construction would be too costly or difficult. Buildings are constructed off site and delivered in completed form to the client's site.

Mach-Aire Modular Clean Room Facilities are easily transportable by road vehicles. The factory completed modules are lifted into position on site alongside each other to form the complete building. Installation of the modules would normally take one day, with minimum disruption for the customer.
Typical Project Programme
- Specification: Meetings with end-users to discuss requirements, present Mach-Aire Ltd design and quotation.
- Enabling: Discuss with Planning Authorities and Building Control all aspects for the project, obtain planning approval and compliance with UK Building Regulations.
- Construction: The building shell is delivered to the Mach-Aire Ltd factory. Installation of ductwork, air handling equipment, internal walls and ceilings, electrical installation etc follows. Foundations installed on site and service connections made.
- Delivery: The completed Clean Room Facility is delivered to the site and installed on the foundations, service connections made.
